Real Madrid U17 is actually Real Madrid U19 C team (U19 third team), they play in third division (Madrid Autonomica Grupo 1) in the U19 category in Madrid because U19 B (U18) team plays second division (Liga Nacional) and U19 A team (U19) plays first division (Division de Honor), therefore the U19 C team can't be promoted because the U19 B team is already in second division, and the B team can't be promoted because real madrid U19 A team is already in first division. Therefore Pipi is playing against players way bellow his league. In fact, absolutely ALL Real Madrid players in Pipi's squad were way too good to play in the division they were playing at. They lost 1 game and tied 1 game out of the 23 games they played.
In Conclusion, Pipi isn't playing against players of his own level, he is playing against players in third division of the U19 league. This season, all the U19 C players (U17) got moved up to U19 B (U18).
If you ask me, even though they're playing in third division in the madrid youth system, most, if not all of Pipi's team is good enough to play in first division.
